Dutch violin day

At the Dutch Violin Day 2022 Frederieke will work with winners from the Davina van Wely Competition as well as perform together with her own former violin teacher Peter Brunt
Associate Artist ~ Quantum Ensemble

The Quantum Ensemble, resident ensemble of the Auditorio de Tenerife (ES), has appointed Frederieke as Associate Artist of the group. Frederieke gladly continues the collaboration with founding members pianist Gustavo Díaz-Jerez, clarinetist Cristo Barrios and guest players (see agenda).
Boog
Thursday, October 4th 2018
On November 4th Frederieke will play the premiere of a new piece for solo violin (including dance elements) during Novembermusic 2018. The piece, named "Boog" (Dutch for "Bow"), was created by composer Oene van Geel and choreographer Heather Ware.

In the Fall of 2017 Frederieke will start teaching in the Masters program (Master de Interpretación Solista) of the Centro Superior de Enseñanza Musical Katarina Gurska in Madrid.

Maternity leave

At the moment Frederieke is on maternity leave. In January 2017 she will happily return to the concert stage full of fresh energy and inspiration!
New CD on NAXOS label

In August, the NAXOS label released a new cd with sonatas for piano & violin by Carl Maria von Weber. Pianist Nino Gvetadze joins Frederieke for a fresh and energetic interpretation of these almost forgotten works.
